Dunkin’

Founded in 1950, Dunkin' is the largest coffee and donut brand in the United States. As a Public Relations Associate at Allen & Gerritsen, I’ve helped field and coordinate media relations for various events, partnerships and news-worthy moments in the brand’s hometown and second-largest market. See below some of the hits I’ve helped secure!

To celebrate the Celtics Home Opener and "Banner Night," Dunkin’ collaborated with the Celtics to host a game-day activation at the Signature Series store directly across from TD Garden, permanently customized with Celtics and Bruins co-branded murals, decor, and window clings. Guests were surprised throughout the day with a visit from Celtics mascot Lucky, ticket giveaways, and gift card intercepts to fuel fandom. I spearheaded our PR approach to drive conversation around the Signature Series store on this special night.

To celebrate National Donut Day and the Savannah Banana’s inaugural game at Fenway Park, Dunkin’ welcomed the Georgian baseball team to town in the most Bostonian way possible—on a duck boat tour of the city. The tour ended in a surprise and delight at the Kenmore Square Dunkin’ location to pass out Dunkin’ swag, gift cards and free tickets to their sold-out game. I was responsible for fielding media attendance and coordinating media personnel on-site.

The House of Dunkin’ was a two-story immersive experience for concertgoers to recharge at Boston Calling, a Boston-based music festival. The two-story pink and orange activation featured coffee and munchkin' samples, free wifi, friendship bracelet-making stations, airbrush tattoo stations, glam stations to freshen up and an aura-reading photo booth. I was responsible for fielding media attendance and providing an exclusive first-look tour to media personnel on-site.
